Authentic Monferrato
Hills, castles and traditional flavours
The tour
Not far from Turin, the landscape opens into a harmonious succession of rolling hills, vineyards and villages suspended in time: this is Monferrato, a UNESCO World Heritage land, where the beauty of the scenery intertwines with a thousand-year history and the most authentic traditions of Piedmont.
We will discover the Castello di San Sebastiano Po, a fascinating historic residence overlooking the valley and the surrounding hills. Here, time seems to slow down: the owners open the doors of their home for a private visit through atmospheric rooms, gardens and greenhouses, while stories of the family and the territory accompany the gaze towards evocative panoramas where nature and memory live in perfect harmony.
- UNESCO vineyard landscapes
- Authentic Piedmont traditions
- Private castle visit
- Slow travel, timeless villages
- Discover the true essence of Piedmont
The journey continues through the most authentic flavours of the region with a visit to the Latteria di Cocconato, an excellence of Piedmontese cheesemaking tradition. Fragrances, time-honoured gestures and stories of short supply chains reveal the value of artisanal knowledge handed down through generations, deeply connected to the land and its seasons. The visit concludes with a convivial tasting, an opportunity to discover and savour local products that express the gastronomic identity of Monferrato.
A slow and authentic experience, where UNESCO hills and landscapes, historic residences, artisanal traditions and local flavours come together to reveal the truest soul of Monferrato, through places, people and stories that preserve the value of time.
The tour is bilingual ITA/ENG.
